Admnistration and Human Resources Assistant

Nicey Nyandoro Chivaraidze is currently the Administration and Human Resource Assistant for Rozaria Memorial Trust. She has been with the organisation since 2018 and has gathered a wealth of experience in Administration and Human Resources.

She oversees RMT internal systems, ensuring procurement and recruitment processes are efficient, inclusive and aligned with the organisation’s values of transparency and care. She facilitates seamless travel logistics for RMT teams and partners enabling impactful participation in regional and international platforms that amplify community voices. As Board Liaison Officer, Nicey plays a key role in supporting strategic governance and leadership coordination across the organisation.

Nicey is responsible for managing contracts for staff members, service providers and consultants within the organisation. She contributes to building a value- driven organisational culture by supporting the developing of policies that promote staff well-being, equity and professional growth. These policies have improved the organisation’s recruitment strategies to have established clear rules and procedures, ensuring consistent treatment of employees, reduced confusion and minimized staff turnover leading to an organisation that promote performance evaluations that align with organisational objectives.

Nicey has supported the Programs Department on Advocacy and Research Programming. She has ensured that participants’ travel logistics, and itinerary preparations are on point to attend regional and global advocacy spaces such as UNCSW, AU, SADC People’s Summit convening’s just to mention but a few. This enables participants to focus more on their core objectives without being encumbered by logistical challenges.

Her role has given her an opportunity to network with partners, coordinate RMT’s participation and also gain advocacy exposure in spaces that have developed her to become a champion in advancing rights for women and children in achieving the mandate of Rozaria Memorial Trust of providing socio and economic empowerment for young women and children.

Before joining Rozaria Memorial Trust, Nicey worked in the Ministry of Education for 2 years where she gained a lot of experience in managing databases, maintaining filing systems and coordinating logistics for events. Nicey holds an Honours Degree in Administration from the University of Zimbabwe and holds certificate in Leadership Management.

Nicey speaks English and Shona and is learning Sign Language. She is a hardworking, honest and self-oriented young woman who is passionate about personal development and growth. She enjoys spending time with family and strongly believes that behind every impactful programme is a solid system with purposeful planning and timeous execution of planned activities.
