Lilian Pasara is the Finance Manager. Lilian is responsible for financial planning and budgeting, financial reporting and analysis, financial management, Grant management, internal controls, financial forecasting, collaboration with stakeholders, financial policy development, audit preparation, financial training and support and cashflow management for RMT.

Her work focuses on financial planning and budgeting, financial analysis and reporting, and financial risk management. Before joining RMT, she worked with local NGOs on sexual reproductive health rights and children with disabilities. She also worked with regulatory boards, governance institutes and in the tourism and hospitality industry.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from the Great Zimbabwe University, Diploma in Corporate Governance from the Governance Institute of Southern Africa, master’s in strategic management and leadership from the University of Zimbabwe and currently studying towards attaining the Chartered Accountant qualification through the CIMA route.

Lilian speaks English and Shona, and is a member of the Institute of Directors Zimbabwe, Corporate Governance Institute Zimbabwe formerly CIS and a Registered Public Accountant with Public Accountants and Auditors Board. I believe quality isn’t a thing. It is an event. My path in Finance emphasizes the importance of quality in every task and experience.
